I am an at-home mom with a little too much time on my hands. I love to bake, eat what I bake, then think about what I’m going to bake next. I enjoy thinking about all the awards I’m going to win from the beautiful school lunches I make for my kids. I also enjoy reading, making soap, decorating cakes and other crafty things (except I haven’t caught the sewing bug, sorry Grandma).
My husband and I live out in Iowa country, surrounded by cows and cornfields. We have two kids, 38 chickens, 16 guineas, one dog, two cats, a baby bunny, several fish and a partridge in a pear tree. You’re sure to hear occasional rants on any number of these things: Lucky You.
